My sabbatical starts soon: My first chance in a long time to share crochet: making things to sell (like toddler and doll clothes), doing repairs (see 'Before' photo), and generally encouraging the benefits of one-off production in a mass-produced world. My production focus now is sweaters for toddlers and 18-inch dolls. Another phase will include accessories like my favorite wristers and Mobius scarves. The focus is on crocheting fun things with great yarns. My booth at Stitches West next month will display a lot of what I have explored over the years - a distinct variation on the afghan-and-doily look normally associated with crochet. There's a lot to do!
