This faux cable hat and cowl set uses a simple knit and purl pattern to create the illusion of cables. It's a quick knit in, aran weight yarn, that has enough variety to stay fun from start to finish. Written for an adult size, the cowl is big enough to wear doubled, but still a convenient size for wearing in a single loop.
This pattern was previously published as the Woven Waves Hat, which can still be found in the Five Knitted Hats Collection. This version is still delightfully squishy and cozy to wear, but the hat pattern has been updated and the cowl pattern added.
