Product Review: Mountaintop Yarns, Part 2

I received my most recent order from Mountaintop Yarns, and as promised, I'm posting about it here.

This was my third order from Mountaintop Yarns. There are several colorways I had been drooling over, so when there was a 40% off sale, with free shipping over $100, I couldn't resist buying the three that most called to me. I ordered two each of Paint Horse in Marshmallow Worsted (left), Homestead in Marshmallow DK (center), and Engagement Party in Glitter Sock.

This is how they looked when they arrived. You can see the pink shipping envelope in the background. The yarn inside was all packed into a cellophane bag.

I'm very happy with all six skeins received. As you can see in the top photo, the colors are true to what is shown on the website. I'm not sure if it's just the batch I received, but I was pleasantly surprised by how blue the grey in Homestead is. It's not really in the part of the skeins shown in the top picture. You can kind of see the blue in the second skein from the bottom in the second picture, but the lighting for that picture obscures it. The dark grey shown is actually almost a slate blue.

I have no idea what I'll make with any of this yarn, but I'm really looking forward to working with all of it!
