New Pattern! Crazy Filet Shawlet (Crochet)

Here's our first pattern for 2024!

Crazy stitch is a fun and popular stitch for working corner-to-corner.  This shawlet is made using a lacey variation on crazy stitch that I call crazy filet. Once you get the hang of the stitch, this shawlet goes quickly and easily.  Since this piece is made with a loose gauge, the fabric is stretchy, and it doesn’t need to meet precise measurements, I have not provided gauge information.

I made it in sock yarn, with a size H hook to give it a nice drape, but it would also be lovely in other yarns, such as lace weight mohair.  If you want to make a full-size shawl, plan on a lot more yardage, and just keep working until you reach your desired dimensions.
