I'm reposting this for America's 250th! Time to get those needles out!
My son loves all things flag themed, and he also enjoys hot tea and needs a cup cozy, so I worked up this design just in time for Independence Day. It fits a standard disposable coffee cup, but if you make two, they can also be worn as wristlets.
This is a simple fair isle pattern worked on dpns, and while it's pictured in red, white, and blue, any combination of colors can be used. As a small project, it's perfect for using up little bits and pieces of DK weight yarn. Since the floats across the back get a little long, I recommend using the Philosopher's Wool method for enclosing them as you work.
